I hope you enjoyed the festive season. Tomorrow sees a return for all groups to track training, with cold temperatures predicted do keep an eye on the Pacers Whatsapp group for news of any cancellations due to a frozen track. **Mondays Track session Cancelled**

Well done to those who took on the hills of Hadleigh at County XC Championships earlier today. There were victories for:

Jacob Hurrell U11 Boys
Chloe Berry U13 Girls
Molly Smith U15 Girls (Pacers had first six finishers!)
Dexter Marshall U15 Boys
Bella Taylor U17 Girls (Pacers had first five finishers!)
Alfie Jeffrey U17 Boys
Seb Melero U20 Men

Oliver Hitchcock was second overall in the mens race, with an Age Category win for Andrew Southwood. Chris Mower, Aden Bell, Rob Morgan and Eamon Coveney were second in their respective age categories. In the women’s race, Cath Jeffrey and Jenny Morgan won their age categories.

Outstandingly, Pacers won all Junior team events and were second overall in the Ladies and Mens divisions! Congratulations to all for such amazing results and well done to those who volunteered and supported.

Another local race over the last week or so was the Ely NYE 10k. There were age category wins for Katie King who was fourth overall in the ladies race and a shiny new PB for Mark Davies. Well done both!

Next Sunday is the next race in the Suffolk Winter Cross Country League at Stowmarket. I will circulate the details for this later in the week. As always, all full members are welcome to attend these events with costs covered by the club. We are currently ahead in the team prizes and would like to try and continue to hold these titles so please do consider running to help the club win the league again!

For those wishing to dodge the mud, there will be a social road run from Abbeycroft on Sunday at 9am, we will share route details on Whatsapp.
