The Hereward Relay is a multi-terrain club relay event, hosted by March Athletic Club, which starts at Peterborough Cathedral Square and follows The Hereward Way for 38.4 miles until the finish in Ely
It is a four leg relay, with each stage a different length and handovers at Whittlesey, March and Welney
Leg 1 Peterborough to Whittlesey = 6.5 miles
Leg 2 Whittlesey to March = 10.5 miles
Leg 3 March to Welney = 11.3 miles
Leg 4 Welney to Ely = 10.4 miles
Pacers enter 6+ teams of all different abilities – if you would like to take part then speak to Ian Gooderham (he is usually at the track every Wednesday evening and would love to hear from you!)
