Age is Just a Number

Are you over 35? Then an exciting world of competition awaits! The British Masters Athletics Federation (BMAF) offers a fantastic platform for athletes 35 and over to continue their sporting journey, compete against peers, and experience the thrill of competitive athletics. It’s an incredible way to stay active, challenge yourself, and be part of a vibrant community.

Our club proudly takes part in the England Athletics Masters Athletics Inter Area Challenge (EMAC) across a wide range of track and field events. We compete as a team across four fixtures, with the potential to qualify for the national final. Competitors are divided into different age categories, meaning you are competing against your peers no matter what age you are.

This is more than just competition; it’s a wonderful opportunity for camaraderie and shared experiences. It’s truly inspiring to see athletes in their 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond still competing with passion, setting personal bests, and even breaking records. Come and be a part of this amazing journey!

To take part

1. You must be over the age of 35 years

2. You must be a fully paid member of EMAC or be a fully paid member of another UKA affiliated club and second claim EMAC.
