Well done to Jane Wall for taking on the amazing challenge of the Lakeland 50 on Saturday. Jane has been smashing out some super marathon times in recent years but has now got the ultra bug, with this being her longest and highest elevation event. The months of training paid off and the photos of Jane beaming at the end shows she had somewhat of a good time!

Closer to home Stacey Mockford continues an amazing streak of running whilst recording a 5 mile PB at the Worstead event with a medal for finishing third in her age category. At the Ales and Trails 10k in St Albans, Fiona Cunnington won her age category despite having to listen to me chat for nearly an hour whilst Ian Cunnington was second in his age event at the same race. Lara Franklin then continued her injury comeback with an age category win and fifth overall at the Nottingham Outlaw Full Ironman – absolutely amazing! A huge well done to everyone out racing, training or supporting as always, so many brilliant results across the club.
