Bury 5:

Part of the Friday 5 series of races. This is a 5 mile race starting in Nowton Park for the first 1.5 miles then heads off to High Green and Nowton village before returning to Nowton Park for the finish. There is a juniors run that stays within the park itself.

Please Note: A section of the course from High Green is over private land. We have permission to run here for the duration of the race only. Please do not use this section of the course for warming up or down as this could put the future of the race in jeopardy.

Tarpley 10/20:

The Tarpley 10/20 is a combined ten and twenty mile undulating race through scenic West Suffolk countryside starting and finishing at Beyton Middle School. This is an ideal race for the final preparations of a Spring Marathon.

The Tarpley 10/20 will be run again on 26 February 2012.

Nowton Park XCs:

The Bury St. Edmunds leg of the Suffolk Winter League County Cross Country will be held at Nowton Park on 29th February 2011. More to follow.

Boxing Day Run:

Note: When Boxing Day falls on a Sunday the run will be held on the day after, (2010 event will be on Monday 27th).
Usually held of boxing day. We gather at Oddfellows Hall at 10am for a gentle post Christmas jog for about three and a half miles. This is suitable for all abilities, there is a juniors route for those that don't want to do the main route.
